School-Wide Staff DEI Training

H&S Staff DEI Praxis Training Sign-Up Form

In concurrence with the university IDEAL workshops, the H&S diversity, equity, and inclusion training expands opportunities for H&S staff to center a communal vision and praxis to employ diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. This training will provide H&S staff with diversity,equity, and inclusion principles in order to understand the impacts of systems of oppression and apply strategies to address inequitable power structures in and out of the workplace. Staff will articulate applicable practices that forward social justice at Stanford and beyond.

Note: Participants should sign up for the two part training with Part 1 as the pre-requisite course to part 2.

Part 1 training will focus on explicitly defining diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, anti-oppression, positionality, and the impacts of interlocking systems of oppression.

Part 2 training will provide participants with tools to forward inclusion and strategies for intervention in the workplace.
